Roy and Silo Update !

Well you heard it here first. Roy and Silo the famed Central Park gay penguins have split up. It seems that Silo has taken up with a younger female bird.

Little is know about this new she bird (pictured left) though it's rumored her name is Katie and that she was placed in the penguin house by one of Silo's "handlers".

Roy is said to be taking the break up rather hard. He's been hanging around with a mixed sex group of birds and last night was seen binge eating smelt. Silo will only say he hates labels and quote " I LOVE THIS PENGUIN ! I LOVE THIS PENGUIN ! "

Of Shopping and Singing Crabs

As we were walking in a huge Kyoto shopping arcade we fell victim to the intoxicating siren song of a giant plastic crab. In an atempt to lure customers many restaurants in Kyoto employ the talents of singing plastic food all of whom have childlike voices and big round eyes. I'll post more Japanese singing entrees as I find them.

Summer Down Under
