We know that this will come as a shock to some of you but we're a bit of a show tune queen. OK we're not going to front. We're a lot of a show tune queen and we are relatively sure that seat B-210 in the mezzanine of City Center in still a little wet from our seeing Patti LuPone in Gypsy last night. I'll post something a little more in depth when I've had some time to collect my thoughts. But for now,(as we say in Brooklyn)...

Of Shopping and Singing Crabs

As we were walking in a huge Kyoto shopping arcade we fell victim to the intoxicating siren song of a giant plastic crab. In an atempt to lure customers many restaurants in Kyoto employ the talents of singing plastic food all of whom have childlike voices and big round eyes. I'll post more Japanese singing entrees as I find them.
