Domo at LAX preparing to board his flight to The Rose City Domo always obeys in-flight rules... ... even though his lack of a lap makes it difficult at times. A nervous flier, Domo doubts that his seat cushion will be of much help in the event of a "water landing." Safe and sound in the Beaver State. The "Rose City" has much to offer so let's hit the street. Domo doesn't much like Republican views but likes Republicans... especially when grilled and served with butter.
Being Japanese himself Domo had to check out Portland's famous gardens. The pagoda makes Domo miss Kyoto just a little... but the zen garden chills him out. Does a Domo have Buddha nature? The view of Mt. Hood from the pavilion impresses even Domo.
Even though nature frightens him Domo is glad he went to Multnomah Falls. But he still has trouble saying Multnomah. The falls are high and wet which Domo thinks is very apt. While he thinks that the falls are very beautiful the sound of all that running water makes him... hungry. Rimsky's is funky and has great pie. Domo loves pie. Domo thought the waiter was creepy and probably on something. As he returns home Domo will remember Portland fondly and he wants to thank his hosts Lori and Brenda for being so kind. And he thinks that speck is a putz for not taking a picture of them for the blog.

Race Day Follow Up

As you may remember we did a pitch back in August for our buddy Allen Durgin who was running the Westchester Triathlon to raise money for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society in honor of his nephew who is battling the disease. Well not only did he finish the race in the top one third of the field and raise over $3000.00 (thanks in part to you generosity) he also got the phone number of a hunky although sexually ambiguous banker. A win-win situation in anyone's book . A few more race day pictures are below. Healthy post race snacks. #417

The Rose City

We'll be spending a few days in Portland,OR hanging out and catching up with our dear pal Lori so postings won't be regular until next week. We'll try to post over the week-end esp. if we find out what that whole "rose city" thing is all about. Kisses
We always knew that we were right in liking meat but we appreciate the validation none the less.

Well the whole ready-to-wear bobblehead crowd was there.

Forget all the fights and drama at the tents and head downtown and check the Fall'06 collections from five of Project Runways best designers. ProRun guru Tim Gunn will be signing tees and bobbleheads so get them while you can. Remember that nothing says fashion insider like an autographed bobblehead. We can't wait for the forthcoming Nina Garcia dress shields or those Michael Koors sterling silver cock rings. Big Kiss Love your work.

Forever Fierce.
