Happy Birthday UltraMan

In celebration of Ultraman’s 40th birthday, a news conference was held on March 28th. The highlight of the conference was not just to show off the latest incarnation of Ultraman, Ultraman Mebius, but to reunite the entire Ultraman family. Via Spark Plugged . And yes..I am that big a geek.

Ritalin: Now With 40 Percent More Imaginary Woodland Creatures

“ Stimulants like Ritalin lead a small number of children to suffer hallucinations that usually feature insects, snakes or worms, according to federal drug officials, and a panel of experts said on Wednesday that physicians and parents needed to be warned of the risk.” That noise you just heard was the collective scream of New York City’s private school teachers upon realizing that they might now have to instruct their well-off charges without the benefit of spirit-crushing drugs. Although, given the possibility of actually having to deal with little Bennett and Madison’s moods, we’re guessing most parents are going to take their chances with the hallucinations. We Think That Jesus Is Fed Up With This Sort Of Thing

Tonight on Nightline FAITH MATTERS From anchor Martin Bashir: As the eldest son in ABC's smash hit '80s sitcom "Growing Pains," Kirk Cameron once made audiences laugh out loud. Now he wants to lead them to the Lord -- and he's deadly serious. I spent a day with Cameron who, last month, was ranked 15th in VH1's "100 Greatest Kid Stars," just behind Brooke Shields and Tatum O'Neill. Cameron explains how he went from Hollywood to holiness and describes his new career as an evangelist. He's back on TV in a cable show called " The Way of the Master ." It features Cameron preaching on the streets and being alternately attacked, vilified and, sometimes, listened to. And he explains that this is the most satisfying work that he's ever done. " It's Not A Comeback...It's A Return"

After several years of selling tickets to pretensions downtown performance art we are finally doing some of our own. That's right we shall be returning to the New York(Chinatown) stage for three performances of a short (12 minutes) dance/theater work with our friend and collaborator Daman Harun. The piece, My Secret Business is an one act dance/theater work that is part of an evening length program that' s still under construction and should be ready in the fall. The evening also features a new piece by Daman called Love in Several Equations. I'm not in it but it's pretty fabulous none the less. Check out the artwork for the reservation number or drop me a line. Kisses
